Suzy Rawsome is a comedy newcomer, but no stranger to performance art; she has dabbled in musical theatre, singing/songwriting, video sketches, and online radio. But she truly found her home in stand up comedy when she took the stage for the first time in 2011 at an open mic, which eventually led to her landing a spot in the Finals of the People's Champ of Comedy later that summer. Since then, Suzy has worked hard to create her own unique voice and act, which is definitely not for the faint of heart. You may want to take your mom out of the room. Depending on who your mom is, of course.
Suzy has also produced countless hit smaller-scale shows and maintains 3 comedy rooms around Vancouver. She prides herself on creating an awesome show while still maintaining a supportive atmosphere; one that is conducive to the success and growth of the entertainers she works with. For Suzy, it's important that a project be FUN, or it's not worth doing at all!
She is very, very excited to be directing, and performing in, a show of such great magnitude and wants to thank Byron Bertram for giving her the confidence to go ahead and just do it, already!
