Melody Mangler has been involved in Vancouver's burlesque and variety scene for nearly a decade. Melody was the very Canadian burlesque performer to bring home trophy from the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas in 2009. She is the artistic director of Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society and co-founder of the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival.
Widely known as an exciting performer and Tattooed Fireball, Melody tours internationally, writes burlesque plays and creates fantastical costumes pieces for herself and others in the community. Her well-renowned school, Becoming Burlesque, has introduced hundreds of women to the stage for there very first time, many of whom have gone on to become integral performers in the Vancouver and International burlesque scenes.
